Welcome to Wematin Summer Lacrosse 2020

The safety of the boys is our top priority. Below is a list of key point to remember as we start Wematin Summer Lacrosse 2020:

  • Drop off at field nearest Hudson Rd @ 9am Monday and Thursday (5pm Tuesday). We will start @ 9:15 SHARP (5:15 Tuesday) and run to 10:45 (6:45pm Tuesday)
  • Pick up @ 10:45. We must be out of the area by 11am (7pm on Tuesday)
  • 1st and 2nd grade will start on Tuesday, July 14
  • Go straight to your designated grade area
  • Parents -please keep social distance during the drop off process – Do not hang around and congregate
  • Bring your own water – PLEASE LABEL CLEARLY. Boys will keep the water with them during their session
  • Touch the ball with your STICK ONLY – It’s lacrosse – no need to touch it with your hands
  • Bring a mask for use when social distancing is not possible during breaks (gator style works best)
  • If your child has any COVID Symptoms they MUST STAY AT HOME

The full list of COVID-19 policy and procedures is on the LS Youth Lacrosse website. http://www.sudburylacrosse.com/

Thank you for signing up your sons and giving us the opportunity to coach them again.

We missed the boy and are just as eager as they are to be out on the field!

The health and safety of our athletes, coaches, and volunteers remain our highest priority. Below, you will find a summary of actions we are taking to help ensure we are lowering COVID-19 risk as much as possible while also allowing our athletes to play.

  • All players must arrive leave their cars fully dressed to practice. There will be no changing on the field.

  • No bags on the field.  All bags must remain in the car they came in and water bottles must stay with players at all times.

  • All players must go directly to field when they arrive. Congregating in the parking lot or anywhere around the field will not be allowed.

  •  Players will be separated into small groups of 10 players and will remain in their assigned group for the duration of the practice.

  • All practices will be limited exclusively to non-contract drills and will not engage in any scrimmages or games until Phase 3 is approved by the Governor and the EEA.

  • Players will maintain a distance of 6 feet apart while waiting in any drill lines.

  • We ask that parents provide hand sanitizer for use before and after practice. No spitting on the fields will be permitted.

  • All coaches are REQUIRED to wear a cloth face covering during practices. Players may opt to wear a cloth face covering on the sidelines and during play if feasible.

  • Parents will not be allowed on the fields and may watch practice from their vehciles.  Parents are expected to abide by all social distancing requirements and are REQUIRED to wear a cloth face covering when they are outside of their vehicles.

Anyone who is sick or has been in contact with someone who has COVID-19— including players, family members, coaches, staff and spectators — should not attend practices or games. Be on the lookout for symptoms of COVID-19, which include fever, cough, or shortness of breath. Call your doctor if you think you or a family member is sick.
